Handcuffed man seen on video successfully escaping from police

(Scroll down for video) A man managed to escape from police while in handcuffs.
23-year-old Tareek Arnold of New York, was arrested after he was accused of shooting a rival four times.
However, he escaped from police custody and he remains at large after running away in handcuffs, police said.
Arnold was handcuffed and was about to be transported from the 32nd Precinct police station in Harlem around 7:45 p.m., when he pushed an officer aside and fled, police said.
A surveillance video from a nearby store showed the handcuffed man running away. An officer and a detective were seen a few moments later running behind him.
Arnold ran into a building just two blocks from the police station, and disappeared, police said.
His whereabouts still remains a mystery. Police are watching the home of his friend where he lived before his initial arrest, but so far, he did not return to the home.
Arnold, who is considered dangerous, was accused of shooting his rival. The 38-year-old victim was shot in the right arm, upper chest, stomach and elbow during the bloody confrontation, but he survived, police said.
