Police officer found incoherent in NYU college dorm room

A police officer in New York, was arrested after he was found in a college dorm.

23-year-old Anthony Villalon was off duty when he was arrested for trespassing at the NYU dorm, police said.

According to police, Villalon was “incoherent” when he was seen inside the New York University (NYU). Police were called after Villalon refused to leave the Greenberg Hall, which is a 10-story residence for medical students.

The building is located on First Avenue near East 30th Street in Kips Bay, across the street from the NYU Langone Medical Center.

It was not clear why Villalon was in the dorm and he was unable to explain himself to police, officials said.

It was not clear how he had access to the building as it has security 24 hours a day.

Villalon faces charges of criminal trespass, police said.
