Mother holds down family cat while daughter stabs it

A 14-year-old boy called police to report that his mother and sister were killing their cat.

The mother and her daughter were arrested on Wednesday, after allegedly stabbing their family cat to death.

50-year-old Kelly Palermo and her daughter, Samantha Palermo, 21, of Chicago, Illinois, each face charges of aggravated cruelty to animals.

Prosecutors said that the daughter stabbed the cat while the mother held the animal down.

For an unknown reason, the mother became angry with the cat. She held the cat while Samantha repeatedly stabbed it.The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m.

Kelly’s 14-year-old brother grabbed the cat from his mother and called police. However, Kelly took the cat back and held it down while Samantha stabbed it several times until it died, prosecutors said.

Both the mother and the daughter were arrested and bail was set at $125,000 each.

Nancy Acosta of Houston, died after her car crashed into oncoming traffic on Thursday afternoon. Acosta, a mother of three children, caught her husband Freddy with his mistress at home before the accident. According to the police investigation, Acosta followed the car of her husband and began to slide sideways while attempting to run him and his mistress off the road. She died at the scene. The driver of the other car was taken to a nearby hospital, and is said to be in critical condition. The husband and his mistress were not injured. Father chokes his son because he wanted to be free to marry another woman

Sapporo police said that they have arrested 31-year-old Tsubasa Suzuki, after being accused of trying to strangle his 9-year-old son in his car. According to the police investigation, Suzuki, a divorced father of one child, was waiting in his car for his son outside school on Monday afternoon. Around 3:00 p.m., the father persuaded his son (, who lives with his mother,) to get into his car. On the way home, Suzuki stopped the car on the side of the road and began choking his son. Luckily, the father had second thoughts and let his son go. The boy suffered minor injuries. During questioning, Suzuki told police that the child and his mother were obstacles for him to marry another woman and he wanted both out of the way.
