Man shoots himself in the leg to feel what it is like to be shot

A man shot himself in the foot because he wanted to feel what it is like to be shot, police in Colorado said.

30-year-old Adam Hirtle of Colorado Springs, told investigators that he shot himself in the foot on Wednesday night, because he wanted to know how it felt.

Hirtle was charged with prohibited use of weapons, reckless endangerment and child abuse.

Officers were called to the St. Francis Hospital around 7:00 p.m., after doctors learned that Hirtle accidentally shot himself in the leg.

Hirtle however, told police that the shooting was on purpose. Hirtle said that he shot himself in his garage. He did not suffer life-threatening injuries and nobody was hurt.

Jealous woman killed in car crash while trying to run her husband and his mistress off the road

Nancy Acosta of Houston, died after her car crashed into oncoming traffic on Thursday afternoon. Acosta, a mother of three children, caught her husband Freddy with his mistress at home before the accident. According to the police investigation, Acosta followed the car of her husband and began to slide sideways while attempting to run him and his mistress off the road. She died at the scene. The driver of the other car was taken to a nearby hospital, and is said to be in critical condition. The husband and his mistress were not injured. Father chokes his son because he wanted to be free to marry another woman

Sapporo police said that they have arrested 31-year-old Tsubasa Suzuki, after being accused of trying to strangle his 9-year-old son in his car. According to the police investigation, Suzuki, a divorced father of one child, was waiting in his car for his son outside school on Monday afternoon. Around 3:00 p.m., the father persuaded his son (, who lives with his mother,) to get into his car. On the way home, Suzuki stopped the car on the side of the road and began choking his son. Luckily, the father had second thoughts and let his son go. The boy suffered minor injuries. During questioning, Suzuki told police that the child and his mother were obstacles for him to marry another woman and he wanted both out of the way.
