A mother was banned from breastfeeding her son because she decided to get a tattoo.

The judge in Sydney, Australia, has banned the mother from breastfeeding her 11-month-old son because she got a tattoo recently.

The judge said that the mother’s decision to get a tattoo exposed her 11 -month-old baby to an unacceptable risk of harm.

Federal Circuit Court Judge Matthew Myers handed down the harsh ruling despite the fact that the mother tested negative for hepatitis and HIV.

The judge said there was still an unacceptable risk to the child.

The case came before the court by the child’s father who expressed concern about the tattoo causing harm to his child.

The decision has shocked breastfeeding advocates who said that many women get tattoos with the name of their child while breastfeeding.

“Tattooing is a regulated industry so if you go to a tattoo parlor that is reputable then the chances of contracting an infection is very low,” one breastfeeding advocate said.

The mother plans to appeal the case.
