Elephant runs away from circus and kills 65-year-old man who was jogging in the woods

An elderly man is dead after being crushed by a circus elephant as he was jogging in the woods, police in Germany said.

Heilbronn Police said that the man was taking his usual morning walk in the woods when the elephant attacked him.

The 34-year-old female elephant named Baby, was captured by a 34-year-old circus worker and returned to its owner identified as Circus Luna.

Police are not sure if the elephant escaped by itself or if it was intentionally released by someone.

According to the police investigation, two people who saw the elephant attacking the man, called the police. When the man did not return home from his walk, his wife went to look for him.

She arrived at the scene, and found the police and her dead husband.

This was not the first time that Baby has injured people. The elephant has thrown a man in the air and has broken the jaw of a 12-year-old child.

Nancy Acosta of Houston, died after her car crashed into oncoming traffic on Thursday afternoon. Acosta, a mother of three children, caught her husband Freddy with his mistress at home before the accident. According to the police investigation, Acosta followed the car of her husband and began to slide sideways while attempting to run him and his mistress off the road. She died at the scene. The driver of the other car was taken to a nearby hospital, and is said to be in critical condition. The husband and his mistress were not injured. Father chokes his son because he wanted to be free to marry another woman

Sapporo police said that they have arrested 31-year-old Tsubasa Suzuki, after being accused of trying to strangle his 9-year-old son in his car. According to the police investigation, Suzuki, a divorced father of one child, was waiting in his car for his son outside school on Monday afternoon. Around 3:00 p.m., the father persuaded his son (, who lives with his mother,) to get into his car. On the way home, Suzuki stopped the car on the side of the road and began choking his son. Luckily, the father had second thoughts and let his son go. The boy suffered minor injuries. During questioning, Suzuki told police that the child and his mother were obstacles for him to marry another woman and he wanted both out of the way.
